If you are looking for a miracle drug to quit smoking, then you will benefit greatly from this article. Everyone is looking for that easy, quick and painless cure for everything.
Unfortunately there is only one place that exists, and that is in the greedy marketer’s overactive imagination. At the conclusion of this article, you will see that there is no miracle drug to quit smoking, or indeed anything.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we lived in a world where all our problems were fixed by simply taking a miracle drug? Want to quit smoking? Here, take the blue pill. What about losing weight? All you need to do is swallow the red pill.
Who knows? This may actually be the way of the future, but for the time being, it is just science fiction.
Yet every day we are made to believe we already live in this magical fantasy land, thanks to the power of advertising. There is a miracle cure for this, and a quick fix for that. Smoking is no different.
How often do you hear about the new miracle drug that will supposedly help you to quit smoking? Why then are there constantly new products coming out when we already have plenty of miracle cures that fix our smoking problem?
That’s an easy one to answer: There is no such thing as a miracle drug that will cause you to quit smoking. Miracle cures and quick fixes are just buzz words that advertisers use so we buy their products.
We all want a quick solution to our problems. We all lead busy lives and sometime feel we don’t have the time to stop smoking. So when we hear: “Here is the new miracle drug that is the quick fix to your smoking problem,” we want to believe it is true.
So we buy it, we try it and then we keep on smoking.
Next time you see an ad for a stop smoking product, try to notice how much they try to convince you that you cannot quit without their product. They convince you it is just so hard, akin to crawling backwards over hot coals, while being poked with sharp sticks from several angles.
These people don’t want to help you to quit smoking, they just want you to believe it is so hard, that you cannot quit without the product.
Unfortunately, some problems cannot be fixed overnight. You are the one who started smoking and you need to be the one that stops it. If you want to quit smoking it is going to take time, effort, commitment, will power and self belief. You don’t need to buy any of these things; you just need to know how to utilise them.
The two things I am proudest of in my life is one, losing weight and two, stopping smoking.
I am proud of these achievements, because I set myself some goals, I worked hard and I achieved them. I never used any so called ‘miracle drugs,’ I just utilised the abilities I had inside of me. We all have these abilities, but sometimes we are not willing to even try, because we are made to believe there are easier ways.
While I was both losing weight and stopping smoking I actually began to enjoy being in situations where I had to say no. Being able to say no made me feel strong and committed but best of all it made me feel proud.
I soon realised that quitting smoking is nowhere as hard as everyone (especially quit smoking ads) make it out to be. You don’t need a miracle drug to quit smoking, all the requirements you need you already possess.
The sooner that you realise there is no miracle cure or quick fix the better off you will be. You will also be one step closer to achieving your quit smoking goal.
